Called them for a quote to change my AC condenser on my well perserved 1998 BMW 328 convertible. He claimed my car was to old and he was going to charge me more just because it's old when older cars in a sense are much easier to work on. A job like this shouldn't be no problem for a PROFESSIONAL mechanic. Stay away they will over charge you.

My car was towed here and asked him to do a diagnostic on it. He pulled car apart and said computer was fried. Took out my steering lock. He quoted $4500 to repair or he could give me $1000 for car as is. I told him we would tow it and he was shouting at me I owed $1300 and wouldn’t let me tow car till I paid him. Took it to a dealership and got it repaired at a significantly lower cost. I see similar reviews here to mine, Beware

Harry at Orenda is an excellent BMW transmission specialist.I found Orenda Auto by doing a google search looking for someone in the area who could quickly help me get a known oil leak in my 2000 BMW 528i E39 fixed.Within moments of checking out my car, Harry heard the noise I was trying to avoid. The sound of my manual transmission in neutral. It sounded bad, and I had avoided dealing with it after a botched clutch job.Harry said he'd take a look, and he did, and quickly saw a few things that had gone wrong.He showed me exactly what the issue was with pictures, and I was able to source a used gearbox from Bimmer Heaven to replace it with.I brought it to him, and he took care of putting it in and getting the oil cover housing gasket replaced.The car runs super smooth now once again, something I didn't expect to have again.Great work, and highly recommend if you have transmission issues, this is their specialty.

Absolute ripoff merchant took$1400 off me and never fixed my carWanted $4k and I have been quoted $900 for same repair needs shut down

Great place for any european car. My Audi A6 was regularly maintained here and always got great service at reasonable price. Harry will not give you bad advise as he is not greedy like others. Highly recommend him

Harry is a technical genius !! I have been going to Harry for a while now. He is extremely honest and very trustworthy! He has solved problems (earlier with my BMW and now Mercedes) which even the dealer couldn't fix. I have health issues and Harry always accommodates me which i really appreciate! 5 stars for sure!

Towed my car to this shop after it suddenly stopped and after reading other reviews I decided to try this shop out. Very clean shop, the only mechanic was dressed similar to a BMW tech and the outside door said 1998-2008 Downtown BMW/BMW Toronto Factory Certified Master Technician" Kudos for keeping himself and the shop clean as heck..Left my car over night and I was hit with a $100 diagnostic fee to investigate my problem.The next day he told me I had 2 solutions to the issue:1) replace a transmission computer - cost would be up ward of $4000.2) Send my transmission computer to Bulgaria where they would "jail break" my transmission computer and get it up and running. ///this would be $1300 but its not guaranteed.I've owned bmws all my life and I knew something didn't sound right.Towed my car out of there to another shop who actually ended up telling me that this was not the issue and I was severely misdiagnosed by Orenda Auto.The new shop charged me $400 to do the repairs and they got me up and running in a day. The issue ended up being something irrelevant to the transmission computer. I dodged a bullet.I'm not saying don't go here. Maybe for basics like regular maintenance he's good or maybe he was having a bad day... I see his reviews from others seem pretty good."

Definitely 5 stars. Harry did the right diagnosis of my BMW, he gave me all the options, and fixed my engine problem. I strongly recommand.
